Banks to finance rural development projects

Entrepreneurs with approved projects under the Rural Development Programme will be given the opportunity to apply for credits financing up to 100% of the investment, the State Agriculture Fund (SAF) announced according to the Dnevnik daily. 18 banks have so far shown interest in concluding a contract with the SAF to allocate the resources – Allianz Bank Bulgaria, DSK Bank, Piraeus Bank, Emporiki Bank, Investbank, International Asset Bank, D Commerce Bank, Municipal Bank, United Bulgarian Bank (UBB), First Investment Bank, Raiffeisenbank, EIBank, Tokuda Bank, Teximbank, UniCredit Bulbank, Central Cooperative Bank, MKB Unionbank and Eurobank EFG. The SAF will provide the respective financing in a 40-day term after a credit application has been approved. The maximum credit amount will be BGN 500 000 granted at a 9% interest for up to 60 months.
